Tour - Part 4

Step 5: The wort is transferred to a fermenting tank where the yeast is added. The brewing yeast, like bread yeast, consists of organisms which feed off of sugars and produce alcohol and carbon dioxide. When the beer has the right amount of alcohol and fizz, we turn down the temperature, slowing the activity of the yeast. The beer is now ready to be filtered and bottled.
